yammer ym 165
My yanmar ym 165 just started dumping what looks like either fuel or oil or a combination of both out the rubber tube below the injector pump at any thing above idle. Any ideas what it could be?????

I found out what it is. Hydraulic fluid is getting into the crank case somehow any ideas??

I can't really take a good look at mine because of deep snow, but the only rubber tubes I see in that area on the right side of the engine is the one going from the fuel tank to the fuel filter. And then there is one other side of the fuel filter that probably goes to the injector pump. The first one is easy to see, the second one also has a couple of hose clamps and is sort hidden because it seems to pass behind the injector pump & must connect back there. Is that the hose? Is the hose itself leaking?

Found out the new hydraulic pump I had just replaced had a blown shaft seal allowing the hydraulic to leak into the engine crankcase.
