Does anyone know where I can get the splined shaft that mounts to crankshaft pulley and the female splined part that goes into the electric clutch to run the mower deck? The splines are worn and allows the univeral joint to wobble terribly. If I can get the new shaft I can weld it to the universal joint.

mine do the same to the point it has worn the bearing carrier in the electric PTO. i have packed the bearings forward, greased up the shaft and it has improved but not brilliant. even the drive shaft to the transaxle does the same.by the looks of them they have never been greased or serviced whatsoever.

Yeah, everyone mistakes "tough" for "indestructible" it seems with these things. They need maintenance just like everything else!
I think the major problem with these little guys is they were used to cut lawns, etc in the summer months and then were just packed away in the winter, as happens with all GT's for the most part. Easy to forget about them that way. At least in areas that have an actual winter!
The larger tractors seem to get more attention because they're depended on for so much more and worked so much harder. At least that's how I see it.
