YFL 155 hydraulic cylinder replacements

... Or if the customer wanted, for about an extra $400 - I think - Yanmar offered a separate hydraulic pump driven off the front of the crankshaft.

Sorry for going dark on you all! I haven't been a great community member. Long story that I had to back burner the tractor for awhile. However, I'm determined now to repack the cylinders myself. @rScotty you know, I can't recall why I felt the cylinders were the problem over the valve... It really could be the valve because I don't think the float function works anymore.... It sounds like an easier fix to replace the valve than repack cylinders... Again, greenhorn, how do I spec out a valve replacement, with float?

Hi! Wanted to do a follow up on my little 155d, now that there has been a little opening in my time availability to actually work on it.

1. The right curl cylinder is the one that is leaking, can see the leak on the bucket (after it sat for a year).
2. My loader has the front PTO mount hydraulic pump with the hydraulic reservoir in the right hand loader strut (proper name?), where the loader control valve in mounted.
3. Decided to just have the local machine shop rebuild the cylinder (time availability vs. cost) and the cost is quoted out at something under $200.

Oh Nice! 200$ sounds about right. I don't think I could complain about the Estimate. I would pay it. I have Crank shaft PTO FEL. also. My cylinders are setup the same as Ponytugs video so that is good to see the seals are easy to get to. I had a problem NTM. and the Shop that had to split it mention they thought it had a Hyd. problem. Slow Etc.. Then I did find it almost by Accident doing maint. After new Fluid/clean filter Made it worse. Sure Did ? It was the Hydraulic hose Itself Suction side to the pump swelled up Locky I looked inside the line and seen it. At a bend and the hose ballooned up inside and about pinch it all the way off. Not the First complaint with it since. Made by Wagner and is fully self contained. Pull the PTO.shaft and 6 bolts. The Old Ford as old as me so I bought it just the fact it was all Org. era.. Cool factor is way up there for how old it is. Bet yours will work like it was New!
