Yet another PT look-alike!

Here is the link for another articulated tractor, this one from Canada. It is made by Buhler, who is a large ag manufacturer. They make the Versatile line of farm tractors among other things.

It looks very interesting and very similar to the PT's. They have a 22 hp diesel model that is pretty similar in size to the PT425. It is a hydraulic articulated machine with a hydraulic quick change system for tool attachments. It has a lifting height of nearly 9 ft (106 in) and a lifting force of 1200 # (very impressive). It has a single handed contol lever with float position and a hydraulic oil cooler. Also has a 20" inner turning circle (turning radius), WOW. Their website does not list prices. Check it out.

Very neat. It weighs quite a bit more than the PT400 series(almost 2000# more) so that explains the ability to lift higher and heavier loads. Pretty cool.

nice unit - they have larger ones as well -
did not see anything comparable to the 2430 / 2445
wuth a backhoe on the rear - I can't figure out why
I can't figure out why I can't find any "competitor type" machines to this

Here's another one I saw in a magazine. Never seen it before myself - don't know if its been posted on TBN or not. Sorry if its a repeat.

Its called a MultiTrac. No web-site listed in the ad - just a phone number.

Wow! What is the phone number on the article for the multiTrac /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I like to call and get a spec's sheet.
I am also new at this site and would like to get all the information I can before becoming a buyer. Does anyone ekse have background information on this machine?

MR Yeh, I got two emails in return for the one I sent you. But, thats okay by me. Thanks for the input. It now looks like I won't be making the trip to Tazewell until next spring. I am busy putting up a 30' x 50' x 14' workshop (steel building) for the PT (among other things). Money and time will both be a little short this fall.
