Yet another LED light job

Having liked having LED lights on my old tractor, I had to install them on my newish tractor, as well. Instead of 18W I upgraded to 27W floods. The ROPs looked like the best spot to install them, and I noted two spots where I could bolt them on without drilling any holes. The folding hardware had nuts welded on, maybe for anti-rattle adjustors (?) and a hole below, which measured just right to tap for a 1/2 - 20 bolt. The scrap bin yielded some angle iron, and I fabbed some brackets. (I shoulded say fabbed- that's 4shorts territory, and he's in a different league!) and made some spacers from old 3/8" aircraft phenolic I've had since the 60's- finally a good use for it! You can see why I needed spacers in the photos. Now, to wire them up. The right side will get two lights- another forward one, plus a reverse light.

That sir is a tidy job. Looks OEM the way you got it fitting in there and you didn't drill any holes :cool2: Class act my friend and done the right way in my opinion. As for me being in a different league. I guess after seeing your install I feel I'm in the minor league :laughing:

Varmint, looks good. Please show where you tied into the "switched hot" if you don't mind. As you know when you turn the lights on at night the LEDs make a world of difference. Stanley
