Yet another grapple

I had wanted a grapple for a long time and after hearing a lot of positive comments about the ones that Andy Tatro builds and sells on Ebay, I finally bought one. I really didn't want it one my bucket because I didn't want it to be in the way when I was using the bucket and to have to remove it from the bucket. You might remember that I built a set of quick detach forks for my loader. Well I cut the forks down in length so that I could dump easier and reach straight down and grab objects and mounted the grapple to the forks. So far it is working pretty well.

Brent that looks like it would be a real handy implement to me. Andy's definitely one of the good guys. Fact is he just made a set of 3/8" QA plates that we'll be using to mount a snow plow to our 17LA loader for the winter and they turned out really nice too.

I did a base coat with JD green paint from Tractor Supply. Then I did a top coat with JD green from the John Deere dealer. The John Deere paint from the dealer seems to be a little tougher.
