You got 7.5 billion people burning stuff 24/7/365. 100 years ago, it was 1.8 billion people. It can’t be sustained.

Therefore what? Ban the fuels that have been largely responsible for this stunning reduction in world poverty?
If anti-freedom do-gooders must interfere with markets, then at the very least their decisions should be based on what is best for human flourishing. Banning hydrocarbon fuels would bring poverty, misery and death on an unprecedented scale.
I was a college freshman when the first Earth Day was observed. My biology instructor made us read The Population Bomb by Paul Ehrlich. According to Ehrlich, most of us should have starved to death by now.

Banning small gas engines, banning gas cars I believe in 2035, some cites are banning gas cooktops/stoves, yet they are asking folks not to charge their EV's this weekend as the grid can't handle charging the EV's and the AC loads on the system.
