While I like the idea of a quieter tractor with more torque, I probably wouldn't buy one simply because I like to be self-sufficient. When an ice storm takes down a bunch of trees and shuts down the grid, I use my tractor to clear the road, then power my property with a PTO generator until grid power is restored. From what I've heard and read about EV's, there isn't an at-home, homestead-sized, sustainable power source that is capable of recharging them in a timely (useful) manner. So, my tractor usage would be solely dependent on the power grid properly functioning, which is the exact opposite of when I need my tractor the most.
