6yrs may be a bit young for it.. I have one (actually 2 but one is for parts due to damage during shipping) and they are quite delicate. It doesn't take much to pop a wheel off of it or any other part for that matter.

More of a leave it on your desk or book shelf kind of toy..

yeah i agree. I had mine on the desk still in the box and THEN in a blink of an eye my son swiped it to play with it and its been in pieces.

I might just have to keep the broken one handy.. And when my BX22 is busted in the garage, trade the good toy out for the broken one.

You know, make some miniature cinder blocks, jack stands, small puddle of "oil", and scatter a few misc parts here and there on the desk around it.
