Well Paul.
I had my crayons out for sometime now trying to figure out the m/c I really wanted since this will be the last bike I'll tinger in heavy.

The parts are starting to arrive slowly, but as soon as they do I'm justa wrenching away..if no more unfore seen boo-boos happen.

Ridge frame,38 degree w/4" rake, trying to stuff S&S 124cu motor w/a Bker 6 speed tranny in the frame..but it doesn't look good so I'll have to settle for 113cu S&S motor and 5 speed tranny..oh well,250mm rear tire, belt drive, just enough polish chrome, triple tree, and if all goes well around mid July..its alive..its alive..opps forgot to mention this muscle bike has ownly one seat, and maybe extra goodie or two later on.

It seems the old tractor are safe in the barns for now and no sign of mud season yet.

Hope you new born baby doing well, and your just about ready to turn the door knob on your new home.

Take care out there and let me know when the peepers start singing so I can get ready for mud season.

Welcome back to TBN again Thomas.

Hope all goes well.

Cheers /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here we were worried that something might have happened to you and you were just playing with a motorcycle instead of the tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sounds like quite a ride. Hope it comes together for you. I have thought of building my own bike before, but just have not had the right insperation. Plus just anouther vtwin will not do it for me. Maby an oid Vincent motor, or maby some kind of small custom built V8 using Gusey, or BMW jugs. Something strange like that.

Baby good[OK great, best thing that ever happend to me /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif] House sill a LONG way to go. Tractors on hold /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[see house, and baby] but it will be good come summer, when everything is set.

I must say I'm surprised /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif I had these thought of someone on a nice mellow ride, hitting the corners hard on occasion, but just cruisin in general...

Now though /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif A ground poundin 100+ci tire smoking light to light racer? Cool /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What made you go for S&S ? I've heard the Revtech's run good too. Know guys with both; they are pretty nice.

Did you go with a partial kit, or are you piecing the whole thing together? We're going to need some pictures... As it comes together, and as it runs!

I would post a picture of myself but that would be to much ugly /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif for anyone to view at once, and might crack couple of screens. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We shall keep the limo{HD}so I been told by my better half /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif but shortly after this project completed..well 3 bikes are to much so one will be up for sale. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

RevTech has a good strong engine also tranny in the 100cu and more than enough hp to offer, but S&S has been building the big motors 113&124cu and tranny much longer...but if RevTech offer 120 hp w/out adding any extra juice I would consider purchasing there motor.

Going to piece it together /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif send $$ coast to coast also try couple ideas of my own. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Pictures..well cameras aren't allow in Area 51,but I'll try and seek a couple of photos here and there. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hope all going well w/you and your family.

Stay safe and enjoy life.

You sound like the perfect person to give me some advice Thomas. I have this situation. A trade magazine has me as a contributor--opinonator--story teller. They want a photograph of me for the byline.

I've found out by observing folks when the meet me that there's usually this look of disappointment. I suspect the image they have of me from listening to or reading me is of a person much taller, considerably thinner, and somewhat younger.

I've thought about finding one of those good looking fine figured man generic non copyrighted photos on the internet and submitting that. But ten years ago or so I had an incident in the local paper where they'd done a story on one of my inventions. They posted a picture of it with my neighbor. That was fine. I'd even suggested it. But they put my name under his picture.

That caused a problem. Not with me of course, I thought it was hilarious. But my neighbor wasn't too happy when I pointed out that it was for his benefit. It'd made me ugly and him smart.

My wife has suggested cropping my picture at my daughter's wedding, me in the tux. I hope they don't consider that for my obit in the paper, just ain't me. I sure as heck don't want folks thinking that was me.

Oh well, something'll come up, I'll figure out a way.

BTW one of my best buds married a girl about half his age. They have a prenuptial that says they're gonna have Harleys instead of kids. He's got a couple of Road Kings and a Borgette. I'm not to sure what the Borgette is besides pretty. I do know he loves to praise it on Friday and cuss it on Monday. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
