After years of dreaming, researching, asking questions and learning on TBN, and doing way to much manual labor with all the wrong tools (ie, 3 lawn mower decks now because of bush hogging with my lawn mower), I have just finally purchased a new tractor. L3800HST FEL and a few implements to get started with. I've been back and forth about size, stability, power, implements etc from SCUTs to this one. Wife said I'm only buying once (yeah, that's right JohnThomas), so make sure I get it right the first time. So here's hoping the fever will be quenched the first time.

I should get delivery Monday. This will be a long weekend for sure...

My dealer is the coolest and most patient guy in the world. I've been bugging him for what seems like forever. Will post pictures very soon.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::):)

Congratulations!!!! We'll see:laughing: That's what I said several times course I didn't learn what I needed using TBN first. I bought first then was on another tractor site for a few years before moving over to TBN the greatest tractor site.:thumbsup:
I to think I NEED to see some photos.:)

Congrats! That is a nice tractor and you will be amazed at what it will be able to do, especially compared to a lawn tractor :D.

Thanks guys. Will be hard to stop smiling for a while, and I know what you mean, now I've bought chains and need an air tank, etc, etc. I'm sure the list will go on for a while.

If I knew how to change the username, I would. :laughing:

I got a 6' box blade, 5' bush hog, and 5' tiller to get started. Have friends with other implements that I may borrow as needed. Of course it's raining today and rained all weekend and I won't be able to do much but drool until it dries up. Will post pictures as soon as I can.

Also, for the first time since I moved into my current house (about a year and 3 months ago), I spent the entire weekend cleaning out and organizing the garage/shop so Bessie will have a clean dry place to rest.:thumbsup:

Congratulations. There are so many benefits in regards to owning a tractor and the tasks and projects that a tractor enables you with the means to complete. Here's hoping that you have many hours of enjoyable Seat Time in the years ahead.

Just PM Muhammed to change your username to what you'd like.

I don't see a need to change names... . . . . . ...there's always *another* tractor ;)

Congrat's, and just 'cause you now own one don't mean ya still can shop 'em! At least that's my practice, albeit a dangerous one for my bank account. :laughing:

Pictures!! Delivery through in the garage with my youngest daughter "driving".:) Trailer will be rewired today and I'll pick it up with my box blade and tiller. Will take bucket off and take back for them to install the tooth bar when it arrives. Didn't really get to do anything yesterday and probably won't until this weekend at earliest. Chomping at the bit for seat time. Read all the manuals last night. You know you have a problem when you read all the manuals while browsing the National Championship.

Awsome bud, beautiful! Congrats :) . Are those quick hitch boots I see. I was looking into them because the quick hitch frame I bought only fits one impliment, and I dont feel like cutting the ears off every impliment and moveing them. Who makes the rotary cutter? Looks like its built very well. Hard to tell on my phone.

Give it a bit of time but recheck the oil level in the front axle... it takes a while for it to seep in. Congrats... :thumbsup:
