Are parts readily available for a 1700?

Also, does the 1700 have an independent PTO system, meaning does the PTO have power when the clutch is depressed?

After re-reading my post this morning I realized I asked my question incorrectly.

What I meant to ask is this....

Does the lift work independently of the PTO?

Yes, no connection other than they share the same oil.
