Comparison Yanmar YM2310 PTO Speeds?

I just purchased a 1982 Yanmar YM2310 and the PTO has 4 speeds. Does anyone know what speeds (RPMs) they are?

Some tachs have them on the face otherwise 1st gear is 540 at 25-2600 rpm most likely.

My tach has them on it is how I know my 1st gear is 540 @ 25-2600 for instance. I can look tonight at the others see what they correspond to but I have tilled in 2nd gear and I regularly run my pto backhoe in 3rd gear and about 12-1300 rpm works nice.

1st, 542, 2nd 685, 3rd 1005, 4th 1268. I think at 2400rpm engine speed but will not guarantee.

My 1401D only has 3 speeds, but they match those first three

Yes, sorry about that. It was an error on the first batch of manuals that we sold. We received some bad info from our source in Japan. It was corrected in the second release of all of the manuals a few years ago. You can email me if you need the correct speeds.

Aaron - Are you saying the operating manual for my 2020D I purcahsed from you is incorrect? The reason I ask is that I purchased it from you 5 months ago? Is it possible I was sent out the wrong version?

Is my operating manual for my 1401D with the same speeds also incorrect? I purchased it about 1 year ago.

Yes, if it has the speeds that you listed earlier. Did you buy the manual from us a year ago? We should have had the new version long before that.

You are exactly right. I found one more of the old 2020 manual and a couple more old 1401 manuals in the pile. We are not sure where they came from but we suspect they are just old inventory from a dealer that we bought out recently. The version with the wrong PTO speeds was last printed in 2006.

The only difference in the manuals is that PTO speed section but click "contact me" below if you would like for us to send you a manual with the correct PTO speed page.

I was off a bit on my specs now I looked in my book not sure that it matters to the OP at this point but just to straighten my post out.

I had presumed all them would be the same? I have a sticker next to mine that says gear 1 is 540 spec also fwtw.

My 4 spd pto is @ 2200 rpm (not 25-2600) gear 1 is 540 2 is 685 3 is 1000 and 4 is 1268. fwtw
