Yanmar ym1700

I am looking at a ym1700 with a koyker 80 loader.
It is 2 wheel drive so I am a little concerned if it
will have the traction to move and push snow in winter.
It will be used on a gravel driveway.
Also the asking price is $4800 it is in very good shape
and indicates 475 hours.
Any comments and opinions would be appreciated.

Price is in line. You may want to add some weight to the rear when pushing snow

That little machine is not at a los for rear traction... front steering may be an issue with a heavy load.. but like the old guys with 2wd and no PS used to do.. you start steering as you start moving..

Generally you like to see 4wd / and or power steering with loaders.. but as with many things.. if you use it right you can get along with it.. the guys in the 30's 40's and 50's did... Besides.. sure beats pushing a wheelbarrow..
