can anyone tell me why my fuel gauge is flashing? it's full! when I first got the tractor it didn't flash but now it's constant... I'm on my third tank of fuel and I don't know why it's flashing or how to make it stop, any help would be very appreciated!

Has the wife been driving it?
Maybe an electrical connector has come off the fuel gauge.
More rare, float has come off, is anything floating in tank?

Check the manual for possibilities or ask your dealer. Is a low fuel indicator light flashing? Is the needle swing back and forth? I don't know Yanmar at all. Some tractors may use flashing to indicate water in the fuel or separator.

I understand that this post is 4 years old, but what was the resolution for the flashing fuel gauge? My SA325 is doing the same thing.

I found that my problem was 2 chewed-through wires from the fuel level sensor on the top of the tank underneath the dash. So, I can confirm that a fault from the fuel level sensor causes the flashing full fuel on the LCD. Makes sense, actually -- I just wish that it was included in a manual somewhere. Maybe the engineers thought that it was too obvious to write down? Ha.
