That wide slot where the tow bar goes is called a swinging draw bar, same as our John Deere 3020. You can off set it and the holes are where you drop two pins to secure it.

Thanks for the feedback. It's also pronounced going forwards in the next few models along with the John Deere 1250, 1450 and 1650 machines.

I've noticed the Yanmar UFO on the Deere side is called, Center-link Draft Sensing with position and control. This comes at the tail end of the YM series and moves into the F-FX Series machines.

The reason my updates are slower going forwards, it's gathering the information to present it accurately and to seek proper images. The YM5000 is a bit tricky. It does some things the YM4500 hinted at and Deere went with.

The YM4300 is the JD1050, pure and simple. Go to the YTOG link in my signature and snag the TM1192 manual. It's great as it's in English. The only difference is JD green paint vs. Yanmar Apple Red.
