Yanmar loader won't lift ???

   / Yanmar loader won't lift ??? #11
OK.....I'm stumped. 2011 Yanmar with Yanmar loader that hasn't had a problem since new (other than the curl has slowly tilted forward for several years.....I can live with it), and worked fine yesterday. This morning I get on it, the loader will only lift about 12" and seems to hit a dead stop.

Curl function seems fine, near as I can tell with only 12" of lift. Engine lugs down a bit when I hold the joystick back at the 'top' of the current lift amount, so I assume fluid is flowing thru the joystick valve block and the pressure relief is working. Check for obvious physical obstruction or leaks reveals nothing....so I assume it's something internal.

But what ?

All help appreciated.
I had same problem today. Was working fine and suddenly wouldn't lift. First I checked the usual stuff, anything bent, broken, missing, leaking, crimped lines. No obvious problems. My mind went to valve body immediately. But bucket curl up and down worked fine, and loader goes down fine and lifts tractor front end off the ground. Loader was slow to lift to lower tractor front end back to ground. I had set parking brake and left it in gear. Once I placed it in neutral and released brake tractor would lift front loader and lower tractor back to the ground fast due to it's own weight. Engine bogs a little and you can hear pump strain when you try to raise front loader. This tells me everything is fine. Only thing left to check was quick disconnects. The blue one was visibly bad once disconnected but not before.

Meant to add troubleshooting guide in owner's manual is useless. No mention of quick disconnects at all.

I have a similar problem, but my loader won't go down. Did you figure yours out yet? I tried all the easy stuff so far. Waiting to hear back from service Dept. I have a yt235c.
