Yanmar in a Blizzard!!!

One more picture of the upper pond. If you look real close you can see my fish. The ponds are mostly covered in snow and ice right now (except for the small opening where the pond heaters are). I can't wait till spring!

What model tractor and loader do you have?

hi,

The tractor in these pictures is a yanmar 1601d, grey market tractor, orginally made for rice paddy harvesting, i believe. The loader, is somewhat generic. Most ppl who recognize the tractor as grey, notice the loader too as a "V" loader.

I have a similar amount of snow to clear tomorrow so maybe some more pics are in order! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mike48, if you are curious about the 1601 model let me know. I find it to be very capable of pretty much any task I've put it up to... I think you'll find other members here that say the same thing. It's a great tractor (not just 'cause I own one!! ;-) )

Man, how time flies...Are you all set with the same equipment this winter?

Hi Mark,
Yes, I'm using the same line-up for this winters work. In fact , used the 169d for a hour or so on Saturday cleaning up 12" of snow.

I like that loader you included a picture of--- I haven't seen them with a single hydraulic cylinder in the middle of the loader arms.

Funny thing about winter is, I get to use the tractor more than summer clearing snow. And, my wife can't say no more tractor since we need to get the cars out!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
