Should be an FX16D if it has a Powershift. Powershift is not a true automatic, but close. Should have 3 speeds within each range. Shifing within those speeds AND reverse can be done without using the clutch. Shifting between ranges must be done with the clutch. FX16's are great tractors. 500 Hrs sounds about right. My FX24D had @ 4050 hrs on it when I bought it. After 4 1/2 Yrs it now has @ 600 hrs.
