Call the auctioneer. They are licensed by the state and are very careful of taking care of their license. My brother bought a car hauler from an auction and later found out it was a stolen and repainted U-Haul car hauler. The auctioneer made it right with him. Explain to the auctioneer what has happened and see if he offers to help you out. Be courteous. If he starts giving you the run around, go ahead and drop the State's Attorney General's name on him and then give them a call.
