thought I'd post some pics of the yanmar at work.. This was a very large sweet gum tree. about 100 ft tall.. The 372 XP had no problems cutting the tree.. My trusty coon dog Mrs Reba helped a little as well

thanks,, The tree looks strange to me.. With the large circle within the cut part of the tree, it Almost looks like a tree grew around a tree.

Other than the FEL,That thumb grapple has been the biggest asset that I have added to the tractor

just looks like heart wood staining or darker wood to me. You see some strange stuff in trees and the patterens in the wood. As a forester that oversees logging operations i see quite a bit of cut wood.
