My Yanmar 2610d pulls hard to the right when the 4wd is engaged. Does anyone have any thoughts about why this is happening. Also has a koyker front end loader. Thanks

Could be mis-matched tire sizes, more info needed. Did it just start happening, on hard surface?

Possably only the front right wheel has power to it. I would jack it up and see if you have power to both front wheels.

Because of the differential, there is only power to 1 wheel at a time, same as the rear, (without the differential lock).

what's your tire pressure? Have you checked the toe-in adjustment for the front-end?

Did this all-of-a-sudden start happening? Are there any unusual noises?

Will it engage/disengage 4WD?

Does it do it in 4WD, 2WD, or both modes?

We need more info....

Also, do like arthr31 said and check the tire pressure.............sure could/would be a cheap fix!

Pulling hard to the right would seem to indicate that only the right wheel is driven. I also agree that we need more information.

I just noticed the problem with the steering, although I just bought the tractor a few weeks ago. It only pulls to the right when the 4wd is engaged. No unusual noises or anything. I will check tire pressure and size, but since it only seems to be a problem with 4wd engaged, I think its something else.

Take it back to the dealer.

When I said "mis-matched" tire size, I was referring to front mis-matched to rear, which would cause driveline "wrap-up", especially if you are trying to use 4wd on a hard surface. Keep in mind, these 4wd tractors are really only 2wd, (2wd is really 1wd), unless you engage the diff. lock, when they become 3wd.
