I installed a Yanmar aftermarket power steering on my YM2020. It really works great but has one negative problem.
It is made for a smaller tractor so the cylinder is shorter and therefore you can't turn as short as with normal steering. The cylinder stroke needs to be at least 2" longer to maintain the short turning radius.
With the FEL after mowing a couple of acres with manual steering I would always be really whipped (getting old you know). But with the PS the shoulders and back are not nearly as beat.
