I am shopping for a new tractor and have looked at the big names of course and based on the NH models I'm interested in LS however the closest dealer is 1 1/2 away. I like the size of the NH Boomer 35/ R3039 but I have heard that the R3039 are hard to get now. So I have some questions on the above models published specs. The LS website lists the width of the XR3037 as 60" with tires. It does not mention which tires. Can anyone tell me the actual width with R4 tires? Also the website lists the length of the R4041 as 132.2" and the R3039 as 117.6 is the R4041 actually 15" longer?? The New Holland website lists the Boomer 40 as 121". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the XR3037HC. R4 tires. Rear width is 66". Same as bucket width. Each tire is 16" Wide. I think you can do a comparison of tractor specs on one of the LS sites. I'm at work now but know my XR with loader just fits in an 18' garage with a few inches to spare. The length specs don't include the loader.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was wanting to hear on the XR. I'm trying to stay close in width to my 56 ford which is 65" with R1's. I've got some tight spots in the woods.

Actually, the LS website says the 60" width for the 3037 is with Ag (R1) tires. I would expect the R4s would be a few inches wider per side.

I'd believe that the R4041 is 15" longer than the 3039...it's a longer, wider, heavier machine in general....the next size up really.

The difference between the LS and NH websites doesn't surprise me. One might include the 3pt lift arms where the other didn't, one might include the brush guard where the other did...that sort of stuff.

I just walked out into the dark and measured my XR3037 HSC with R4's.

69"wide at the rear tires

160" long from the curled down bucket to the tip of the 3pt arms.
