X744 Wheel Spacer Kit

The John Deere Accessories Catalog lists wheel spacer BM22725 as necessary on the X729 and the X749. I assume it is an oversight that it does not list this as necessary on all four wheel steer tractors to clear the rear tie rods when installing chains. Am I correct in needing the wheel spacer on my X744 when installing chains? Thanks, Jim

I don't think you need them. The X729/X749 have 26x12-12 rear tires and the X724/X744 have 26x10.5-12 rear tires so you should be ok.

Thank you for the response! I thought also the big difference in clearances maybe the larger tire size on the X729 and X749.

I was at the Dealers today buying 54 inch snowplow, chains, weights. The Wheel Spacers are not necessary on the X744.
