X700 series mower lift bracket repair kit

I have a problem when I disconnect my mower. the lift arm has worn a groove in the lift bracket on the mower which causes it to hang up on the lift arm and makes it frustrating to remove the mower for cleaning.

I seem to remember my dealer showing me a repair kit that was a smooth bracket that was welded onto the lift arm to add more surface area to the contact zone on the lift arm. My guess is this kit applies to the 54HC and 60 HC mowers on the x700 series but I can't seem to find any info about it. anyone here have any idea what I am talking about. It may have been a PIP or a technical service bulletin.

I found a extra plate on jd parts that you can get and I'm assuming you weld it to the bracket so you double the surface area but I seem to remember seeing pictures of a plate that was 90 degrees to the bracket so you would have much more surface area to avoid the wear.
