Took delivery of my new X595 Special Edition about six weeks ago and so far am very happy with its performance. I too agonized between the X595 and the 2210, but I had to really look closely at my true needs. I needed a comfortable mowing machine 95% of the time with 5% pushing snow in the winter (I live in maryland where there are probably only 2 storms a year where we get more than 5 inches at a time). I also could not think of a need for a three point or a FEL.

I have 3 acres to mow and a 230' lane to plow for the winter. Here's the breakdown of what I got:

X595SE $10,259

54"MMM $ 1,169

54" Front Blade 4-way $ 1,079

18 Cubic Foot Dump $ 374

5% MD Tax $ 644.05

Hi RB58,

Congratulations on your X595 SE. How do you like the seat and how adjustable is it?I'm thinking of getting 1 for my 2210 but my dealer didn't have a SE in stock to try out the seat.I also live in MD and its a hit or miss for snow here. We have been dumped on from time to time but not every year /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif .Sorry I love plowing snow /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

The seat is great. I am a big guy and needed a comfortable seat. The only thing I might change now is I should have bought the 62" mower. I originally thought I needed more clearance to mow between trees but found thats not the case.

Well I ordered the X595 Special Edition seat and mount for the 2210. It should be in this coming week. I'll let you know how it works out.

I use my 595 in far Western MD and am pleased with it's performance, especially the Powerflow for leaf removal and the 2 stage snow blower. I have about 40 hours on it and am getting ready for the 50 hour service. I'll probably do it before winter even if I don't get to 50 hours.
