Hello, I once had a x748 with 60 7 Iron deck that I sold a few years ago. Now with Fall and Winter coming I am finding myself with the itch to get another x5 or x7 series 4WD tractor. I can get a X595 nearby here with just over 1100 hours for about 5K. I have searched the forums and other sites for the answer and I am a newbie here so go easy on me. I have reviewed several postings that say that the 7 Iron will fit on the X595 correctly. I have also seen postings where people say that the rear wheel rubs against the steel of the deck with limited lift and I have seen postings where people say that it just flat out doesn't work. I really liked the way that the 7-iron cut when I had it. So can anyone on here please advise me if it does or does not in fact work with a x595? The next step up for me would be the X748 with the 7 Iron for another 3K, is it worth it to get another 7 Iron, that's what I'm currently trying to decide.

Just my take on it and I don't no the answer to your question but according to tractordata.com the x595 isn't listed to use the 60" 7 iron. I would be reluctant to buy the deck only to find it doesn't fit. The x748 is listed to use the 60" deck and has the advantage of the HFWD which I prefer for mowing. If the x748 has the deck you want would it cost about the same as buying the x595 and a new deck?
