X Series Rear PTO

Does anyone know what the diameter of the rear PTO shaft is for an X-series? Apparently (2) diameters are available according to JD, however within the selection sheet only 1 540 RPM option is identified. Also, can anyone tell me if the rear PTO is on along with the mid PTO - at all times?

I can't tell you the diameter, but the shaft is a standard 540 rpm PTO. There is a PTO selection lever that allows you to choose to run the Mid PTO only, Rear PTO only, or BOTH.
