Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. **** I hate it when that happens. Been in a mood all day. No good reason for it.

Sorry just had to *****.

A friend gave me a really nice Zantrex battery charger. Made sure I had the polarity correct. Somehow that meant red clamp on negative! Not the first time my brain has failed me either.

Some days one should not get out of bed. It certainly felt like that this morning.

I take a nap once in a while ... to get a fresh start on the day or to get thru a glum one. There are times I wish I hadn't. :confused3:

I feel your pain brother. I spent 12 years working for a huge company based in the Midwest, and I covered the east coast from New England. It was a professional job, suit and tie, but not sales. Customers were terrific, no issues with them, but my own company personnel sucked. Bunch of people sitting in the ivory tower bitching about everything, no clue that customers paid them lots of money. Two analogies I use to describe my tenure there: I am a pHockey goalie defending shot after shot and no word from home office, but miss one shot and the world knows about it. Second one is I wake up every morning late and miss an airplane--- every fricking day because I will never catch up. Glad I am out of there. Oh yeah, my pension is about 35 cents on the dollar because they made changes. Bastards!!!

Yeah I have a suit/tie job.... it is not that I love my job for the most part. It was just one of those days. We have not begun construction on the barn yet. I have a list of projects I want to get done after the barn is in.... however it is was one of those days where coming home and spending a couple hours on the tractor doing something would have made me feel better.

Operating a tractor for a couple of hours has a therapeutic effect that just can't be duplicated :). Go burn some diesel and feel better!

Yeah I will find a project for tonight that is for sure. Sometimes you just need to clear your head. I worked over the weekend for several hours. Had the hearing protection on the entire time. There was just something serene about being out there working on the land and not hearing a darn thing.......

Some days I wish I was a "missing person".

Some days my wife thinks I am.

I am very Blessed. When the weather is good it's common for me to work at the farm all day and not talk to anyone. No phone calls. No computer. No texts. No passersby. My wife will ask me "So what was your human contact today". After a moment of thought I will say "none". She has learned to accept that. Although I think she still thinks it's a bit weird. But for me, it's Heaven on Earth. :)

I'm a morning person, early riser. My wife, the love of my life, isn't. She works so I understand the additional rest she needs. I always have a smile and a cup of coffee waiting for her in the mornings.

I fake the smile and cheery "good morning" some mornings. If I get up on the wrong side of the bed, just putting on a smile and that cheery good morning, seems to get me back to reality. So, The stock market tanking be damned, that flat tire isn't a crisis I've made it out to be and I just have to man up and go to the grocery store witch I loath.....with a smile because, she deserves it.

Amen. I rarely wake up on the wrong side, but boy when I do it is bad. I am also an early to rise kind of guy. Living out here in the country now it will be nice to be able to start projects early and not have to worry about the neighbors. They would not have appreciated me firing up the lawnmower at 6:30 a.m. when the sun rose....

I'm birdlike. Active day length is directly related to sunshine. Id Summer I struggle to get enough sleep. :)
