Much better looking than the one I run every spring. Check your cotter pin on the nut that holds the disk and blades and grease the universal. GTG.

I would love to have a brush hog to do rough cuts with.. First pass in the spring (when it gets here) on some trails I use, moving back bush as it encroaches on areas I don't want it, last pass over trails in fall..

I would give it a tune up and try it in a heart beat..

If the gearbox is empty dont fill it with gear oil. Its common to have a pinion seal that leaks. Fill it with John Deere corn head grease.
Stays a grease till it warms op and turns to a oil. When it cools goes back to a grease. Doesnt drain out then.
The stuff is like a miracle worker for gear boxes.

ok everyone, thanks for the help. i bought a new 3025e today, should be delivered within two weeks. i got the telescoping arms instead of the quick hitch.

do i need a slip clutch for this thing? tractor has a hydrostat. or is there a shear bolt somewhere?

once i get the tractor i will pull this thing around to the shop and get a better look.

Looks like it has a slip clutch from the picture but hard to tell....
