I just bought a 1532 Massie with fel and 4' bush hog. I was thinking about doing a little bushhogging , road scraping , etc. in my spare time. Question is I don't know how much to charge or how much I can do in an hour. Any ideas. I live in western north carolina.

How much you can do in 1 hour really depends on what you are doing. not all brush hogging is the same, some might be small stuff and some may be a female dog. also remember when you hire out yor liability changes.

Do you have proper insurance to do that?
Most ordinary polices don't cover when off your own property!

A guy I know was bush hogging a field, and the owner asked if he would mow closer to the house. When he did, his mower blade caught a brick hidden in the grass, and flung it through the living room window. He didn't have insurance, so paid out of his pocket. I think that is fine, if you have the money to pay for your mishaps.

Now just imagine if that brick had hit someone! Think ahead, then act.
