Just seem to have the worst Craigslist luck.

This listing came out yesterday... called and e-mailed... left messages saying consider it sold at full price is as shown... can pickup immediately...

Very nice seller said the first person that responded took it home... said it was bought new for his wife, always garaged and never off road...

Kubota RTV-9

Did he say why he priced it so cheap?? I've seen ones that looked like they'd been in a wreck go for more than that!

The said they had for 8 years and listed it for 50% of what he paid.

He does agree that it was too cheap because several like me said they will buy it within the first few hours...

If he really paid $17500 and sold for $8750 then he got screwed twice.

Well... heck... the local Dealer want 10k out the door for a 610 Mule... simply won't budge... made a cash offer and said the quote price is the best they can do...

10% sales tax plus vehicle doc and license ads up... yes, in California we much now licence RTV.

Soft Cab, Roof, Heater, glass windshield, lights, wiper, bed liner... it all adds up... just saying.

Looked at a Kubota Factory Cab today at a dealer... "Sale" price is 20k then add another $2200 for tax and license.

For some reason I just have not been having things fall into place for some time... mostly a day late and not a dollar short... even overbidding on real estate with nothing to show... I think dad called it spinning your wheels... putting in the effort with nothing to show.

Kubota makes a real nice cab on the RTV-X1100D model, but the pricing gets way out of my comfort zone. I saw one with a bunch of options for about $22K at a dealer. When he told me the price, the first thing that came to mind was the brand new full size pickup I had looked at recently that was $24K (was a base work truck with V6 and no frills). I know Toyota Tacomas start at about $23K. Both of those are much nicer than an RTV and much more capable.

I paid around $13K plus tax for my RTV-X1120D in December. Only option was the roof. That was about the upper limit of my comfort zone for this type of vehicle. For a couple grand less the RTV-X900D was an even better value, but I really wanted the 1120.

I think you did well.. simply not seeing those kind of prices here.
