First New Years Resolution completed!!
It was to make the ROPS mounted work lights function that I mounted a very long time ago but never wired.........
Real simple using what was on hand: (weak link will be the cheap 110v wall switches)
1-12v Feed wire from battery under the tractor, across transmission, under the seat and up to the top of the ROPs.
2-Outdoor duplex pvc switch box mounted to the sunshade frame above operator.
3-One switch for front pair and one switch for rear light.
4-Cheapo work light pair mounted to the hinge point of the ROPS and the outside of the bar.
5-One work light mounted in the inner hinge point and pointed on the 3pt attachment.
6-Standard 12v relay mounted inside the switch box.
7-Relay piloted by a gel water resistant splice to the right rear tail light under the fender.
8-Plastic loom over all the wiring except at the work lights themselves. (anticipate replacing them often)
Operation:
Headlights must be on to provide power to my new aux light circuit. My tractor will not power the headlights unless the key is on. (i.e. protect the battery from leaving them on)
One switch for front.
One switch for rear.
Again, nothing fancy but it works.
Now on to the #2 New Years Resolution... removing 30lbs around the waist....
Happy New Year all!!
