I just bought a like new Woods SB74 snow blower. It came with the manual crank for the chute but I would like to put on the motor. After calling a dealer the option of buying the kit is a no go. More money than I can justify. I was hoping someone with a motor on their snow blower would post what motor is on it. Brand, model number, etc.. I looked on line and found a Parker that looks like it would work but I'm not sure. If I knew what motor to put on I know I could do it myself for a lot less than buying the kit.
Thanks

any hyd motor would work but you may have to slow it down.Mine has a big gear around the shoot which you should be able to buy plus the gear on the motor. It runs off the rear remote. Some use a cable and hyd cylinder but they loosen up and require adjustment.name brand of mine is a Normond econor series e78 blower.just google norman blowers and see the pictures
