woods loader 1009 parts?

HELP.........

I have a John Deere 4200 tractor with a Woods 1009 Loader. I bought the tractor with the loader on it used. It has always worked great but now I need some parts for the contol valve. I assumed that the loader control valve was a woods model sinse it is mounted to the loader frame on the right side of the tractor. I know the John Deere controller on this tractor is under the seat. So I call Woods and they tell me they never made a controller for the 4200 and they just plumb the loader into the John Deere valve. Well I am at a loss. Does anyone know how I can get parts for this thing? I actually need the rods (about 1 inch long) that are on a ball bearing sort of ball that connect the actual control stick to the valve itself. I called woods and called John Deere. Now one has a clue.

The valve says SAUER DANFOSS 4400 15682255

Have you called woods and asked for a parts breakdown?

I am assuming that you have had no luck because you are using the wrong words. Used to be you could discribe the part and have an intelligent counter person figure out what you need, but nowadays you need to tell them exactly what you need.

I called woods and they said that they never made a valve for the 4200 so there is no breakdown to send me. They said the dealer could have used any vavle. That seems odd to me that a dealer would get the loader from woods but then just stick a random valve on the tractor. I am at the end of my rope.

You don't say where you're located, but it looks like they have offices scattered all over the US.

If all else fails you can just replace the whole valve with another brand. I had to do this on my loader due to poor quality of the valve. I got mine for about $200 and its a Prince with float capabilites.

Sir did you ever find parts for the woods 1009 loader control? I also have a woods 1009 and just broke the cast aluminum piece that raises and lowers the pistons in the valve.
