Woods BB60

My gearbox is bad on my BB60. Woods has an updated gearbox but it requires a new crossbar at $580 in order to use it. Total cost to convert to newer box is $1800. The box is also slower speed. I can buy the guts for my existing box. Much cheaper. Question is how hard will it be to rebuild the box? Anybody out there offer that service?
