Woods #420 4\' Brush Hog

I have a line on a Woods 4', #420 Brush Hog. It is "like new", however rusty. Is this worth about $400? Is it a good implement? Before I journey to see it I'd like to find out more about it. It would be used on a Kubota B7510 21HP 4WD. Any info would be great. Thanks.

I'm not sure what part of the country you are in but when I have priced Woods they list for anywhere from $995 to 1195 depending on the dealer. I bought an IH400 for $650 this spring, I couldn't find a good used one or justify the extra $250. Every time I ventured out to look at something that was in "great shape, been under cover, used just a couple of times, and only has surface rust" turned out to be a waste of my time. Most pieces of equipment probably worked fine but ones that were $300 - 350 were so beat up and lousy, rusty condition I walked away shaking my head. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif That price is excellent "if" it is as advertised.
