Here's a couple pics of the log lift valve that has the pb.

Another question.....when I hook up the power beyond on my log lift valve I will then have two return lines one out of the log lift valve and one from the splitter valve correct? Can these be teed together at the return filter or will that create some sort of backflow issue as well? Thanks to every one for the advice so far.

If you are installing the log lift valve first because the PB would feed the the log splitter valve, then the following is true.

You can tee them at the end of each valve, and run one return hose to the filter..

Do you know that the first valve will have priority concerning fluid flow.

For instance, if the log lift valve is first in the series path, then if you were using the second valve in line, operation of the log lift using max lever will stop the log splitter.

The log splitter valve is usually in the auto detent retract mode, and this is when the log splitter would stop.

You could get away with half lever and allow some fluid to flow to the log splitter valve, therefore using both valves at the same time.

No big thing, but just be aware of this.

Did you get the PB adapter for the PB port, if not, you would connect them in series as some have done, however at some risk.

If you can not find a PB adapter, then plug the PB port and connect the return port from the first valve to the IN port of the second valve.

You could use the PB port or the return port as the return, just plug one of them.

The reason is that an unused PB port is connected internally to the return port and they both will do the same job.

While looking at the Prince web site, I came across this question and answer.

Q: I just put a Prince control valve on and it’s leaking out the back of the valve. What went wrong?
A: There is a very good chance that the outlet line (return to tank line) has been pressurized. Just one tank line spike, over 300 psi, can cause the valve to leak at either the handle or the spool end cap.

Diagram for PB valve and log splitter except that you want to install the log lift valve as first valve.

Thanks for all that info j j. That's everything I needed to know at this point. I couldn't get a better answer from the local hydraulic repair shop!

Im not sure why I am not grasping this but I have the same deal going on. I have 2 prince log splitter valves that I would like to hook together for a lift and splitter as well. If I put a PB valve in the 1st valve, does it then hook to the IN on the next valve? Then the 2 out ports are T'd together and go to the filter and then to the tank.? If not, How much do you charge for a drawing> Thanks

Exactly as you said. Using the PB sleeve in the PB port.

The first valve must be PB and the returns can be tied together.
