no often but at times i have to bleed the air from the fuel feed line at the injection pump, all lines/filters/copper washers/ and clamps are new all the way up to the motorpal injection pump, the old primer/fuel pump have been replaced with a holley red pump and also using a brass check valve at the pump lift side near the tank, tank has been flushed and fueled with fresh clean fuel, can the injection pump loose prime internally somewhere inside the pump ?

had the tractor just stall out and die while working late one night so i left it there till next day,
it started right up the next day so i pulled elec fuel pump cover and found what looks to be charcoal
restricting the inlet screen, so my fuel station either doesn't have a filter of the filter has failed,
so i installed a racor diesel seperator/filter before the pump, no more pump restrictions.
