Winter Wonderland

Here's a couple photos of our recent snowfall in the Denver area. We got about 40-inches of very wet snow. Nothing like a little drought relief. If you like to ski, you won't find better conditions anywhere in the world right now. The Colorado mountains have been barried in Champagne powder.

My tractor was a huge help in digging out. I was able to clear the driveway and most of the road infront of the house with easy, (along with the neighbors). This is the first tractor I've owned and I love it. How could I survive without it?

Traveling back from Texas I told my children that I could never live in Texas. My daughter really got into it with me. The argument was living in Minnesota versus Texas. I told her how I could never leave Minnesota's Winters. My daughter told me I was a few bricks short of a full load. So basicallly my 13 year old is leaving me for Texas as soon as she can and not coming back. But seeing them pictures makes one really love the snow and the cold.

Forgot to mention as of monday morning our utilities are saying we still have 235,000 with out power and most of that is in the rural areas. (Romeo Michigan area)

Didn't get to go out yesterday to take some new pics, but listening to the news now we are up to "over 400,000 out of power and they have brought in 150+ trucks and crews from Ohio and Indiana Edison says worst in the last 27 years. So monday added 3-6 inches and this morning freezing drizzle /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
