Winter is a good time to do little repair jobs on the tractor. Like replacing a bad rear axle seal. Might as well do both while I got it tore down.

If you were ever worried about breaking an axle on these tractors look at this. I'm not really worried anymore

Those axles look plenty beefy for that turbocharger you've been wanting to add !

In case you really want to get carried away cutting large brush with your Yanmar, This is what drives the PTO. Kinda scares me

OK experts, any tricks in getting the PTO cluster put back in with the shift linkage in the right slots?????

Having a heck of a hard time getting this done:eek: :eek: :eek:

You can take it apart that way but you can not put it back easy that way . You need to take the bolts out of the THREE_POINT_LIFT they are 6 or 8 bolts that hold it.And take it off .Let me know when to call you .

remove cover,pto shift rods,pto assm. differential lock shaft and fork and bull gear from axle.

Got it done;) ;) ;)

Thanks to everyone that PMed me to give me some insights into what I needed to do.
And also thanks for those who let me know why folks are not supposed to answer my posts.

Glad you got it going , It was not all that bad now was it. I should have took some picture's when I was doing mine I am glad you did . now some one will have some to look at if they need to do it.
