Got2Btru, Thanks, the default setting is Your Network AND the Internet, meaning MS is using your bandwidth to help others download. that SUCKS. I blocked WUDO in my firewall for now...

I received my 'notice' to download Win10 last evening.
Seeing as I've got a year(ish) to do it without charge, I've set a calendar reminder for the 1st of June, 2016... We'll see how the dust has settled by then.

I got my "notification" this morning and went with it.Took 23 minutes (VDSL) So far so good except it screwed up all the page layout and formatting in Firefox. And the 'minimise/close' controls in the top right corner (FF) no longer work. Wonder if that's to encourage me to get disillusioned and change to Edge. (not gunna happen)

Do an update. You then have 30 days to do a complete rollback to where ever you started from. That's what I did when W10 wouldn't even recognize much less operate my 2nd monitor (turned out to be an old graphics card driver - we think).
My W7 Pro is working great since I rolled it back. I'll wait a couple more months before trying W10 again. We have until July 29, 2016 for the free upgrade.

That's probably best. But I downloaded Windows 10 last Sunday, then Thursday I ran Piriform's Ccleaner Professional Edition and it removed 23,786 mb; much of which was shown as "oldwindowsinstallation", so there's no going back for me.:laughing:
Incidentally, I've been using the free version of Ccleaner for a long time, and used the trial version of the Professional Edition this time. But I didn't like the Professional Edition. It cleaned every time I closed the browser, so I had to login again here and on other sites that I frequent. So I went back to the free version.

Ever since I downloaded and began using 10 and get into TBN, I have to refresh each time I open a new page. If not, the current postings do not show up. Is this 10 or is something wrong with TBN? This is weird.

This is not Win 10. I have the problem on Win 7.

I received a notice from MS that Win 10 has been loaded on my PC (all 3 gigabytes of it). Did not ask for the download, now trying to remove it to clear up the disk space.
May be time to start thinking about Apple.

If you pre-registered then that's what they do. M$ isn't concerned about your disk space or internet data caps or privacy. For me it would cost $8 per G ($24) to download over monthly data cap.
Today I cancelled my Windows 10 reservation so I can be in control of the download, not M$.
