Sorry I haven't been online much. Here's what I've been doing the past couple of days (logs are smallish so wife won't freak out, but I've moved much larger logs and up to three at a time when she's not supervising /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif)

Wow! Looks like I better get started clearing an area in barn for another toy, I mean attachment. How much cable does winch hold?

Ron -- It comes with 165' of 3/8" (10mm) cable, but can hold 180'. Sure is nice being able to winch logs that far out of the forest! In fact, with a piece of old skidder cable as an extension I was able to pull a birch nearly 300' /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

The winch has a surprisingly small footprint. In the garage it needs 4 feet by a foot and a half for storage.

The woods in Stowe better watch out. Nice looking rig!!!! Makes me want to go out and find another bigger woodlot./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Guess thats out of the question especially since I want a couple of more attachments. Guess I better get a night job for the winter.
