Forcing EV's is a nail in the world's coffin. All the mining needed just for battery manufacturing, is through the roof...using ICE vehicles. Also just like what was mentioned, our grid can't handle it.

Libs are pushing this too fast.

Slow down and push hybrids atleast.

- The elected politicians who create policy around them? (Incentives)
- The C-Suite automaker decision makers who are pursuing due to lost ICE market share?
- Greta?
- Entire renewal energy industry?


I guess I haven’t experienced them being crammed down my throat aside from my tax dollar use on their development. But, I have the argument for a significant amount of our gov spending, the EV dollars are slim piece of a very large corrupt pie when it comes to ‘government support and policy’

EV spending cuts probably wouldn’t make my top 100 list if I got to hack away at the budget for a week.

Why does any mention of EVs cause ICE freaks to go bonkers on an EV thread?

Do you know of any EV owners that do not also drive ICE vehicles?

Do you know of any ICE vehicle that offers the quality of Tesla's FSD software?

Ford used to make some affordable cars like the Festiva and the Escort along with small trucks like the Ranger of the 1980s. IMO, the recent Maverick truck has been a good seller for them because it was affordable, but also blended econo-car and econo-truck features.

I imagine most of TVA's hydroelectric dams were already completed before many of today's environmental laws and regulations went into effect. It's not so easy to build power plants these days.
