Will this pump work with my 17 hp engine?

Okay I posted another thread on a hydraulic pump that was too big for my engine as it bogs it down and kills it. It's seems it's just too much pump for 17hp opposed twin Briggs engine.

Not a big deal I will put it back for another project.

Anyway I was looking for another pump that was identical to my original pump that I had on my home made excavator before.

I came across this one. eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Now I have no idea on how to size a pump to an engine and definitely not sure on which displacement I need to work with what size engine. lol

Anyway will this pump work on my 17 hp engine? I just don't want to buy another one that won't work with my engine.

I can't get any numbers off my old haldex pump as the numbers on the sticker are painted over.

Yes, that pump will work and give you about 3 GPM at 3000 psi.

It will only need about 6 HP
