Adding to what I mentioned earlier; your snow blower will mark up the asphalt due
to the skids that will be dragging on the pavement and the scraping edge that is
the full width of the snow blower.
All the snow blowers on the market have metal skids and replaceable scraping edges.
My advice to you is ask your neighbors what they use.
You can purchase non marring skids from different suppliers but if you want a
bare surface your going to have to scrape by raising the skids up and locking
them at the fully retracted point so the scraper is touching the asphalt.
There is no non scratching solution UNLESS you invent in a walk behind 2 stage
rubber track drive snow blower like a honda 1332 and plan leaving snow on the
asphalt come what may.
Having tube sand and chains in the vehicle for the possibility that you cannot travel up the
driveway without chains.
A Kubota 4 wheel drive RTV1100 with the snow blower attachment is another option where you have a
heated cab and work lights and 4 wheel drive.
You need to plan on having enough tube sand(6 tubes) in the cargo box and a spare can of
diesel fuel and a collapsable snow shovel.
You can purchase a sweeper for the RTV1100 as well as the snow blower.
The issue with the sweeper is the snow will build up on the sides of the driveway and
not be blown into the woods.
