How did you set up the extra hydraulics? I just found out reading this morning that you need more than what you have for the FEL. Some people use the rear remote and some go the electric route with the button on the joystick. <---- Forgive me if I just posted gibberish!

I just used the stock rear remote. Just ran hoses to the front, and made a bracket on the torque tube for the connectors.

I think that grapple would have looked even better on the old 'bota;)

I really need to get/make one of those. Just having a hard time justifying the cost of getting one. But then again, there are a lot of toys I wish I had.

BH thumb
Grapple
Sickle mower
inertia log splitter
more chainsaws
etc. etc. etc.

If only money grew on trees:laughing:

Here are some more photo's showing building of a rock wall across the road. It is not finished, but it is a start!

While you can pick up some pretty big rocks with the grapple, since the "teeth" come together so nicely, you can also pick up some rather small ones too!

James, with all of the rock moving, and knowing the area...have you seen any copperheads? I am fascinated with snakes..from a distance :)

Dean I haven't seen any this year, but we have them.. A couple of years ago I nearly got bit by a small one, as I was grabbing old leaves from around the porch. Had my hands within inches of the little fangey guy.. It was pretty interesting for a few seconds as I pinned him down until the wife got the shovel going. I think most of the time they just try to get away.. but I was kind of in his "favorite place" messing with the old leaves.

I haven't seen any (live) snakes this year, but on my way back from Lebanon last year, stopped in at Bennett Springs just to look around. Up at the actual spring - I saw a water snake underwater hunting under the rocks lining the shore. That SURPRISED me! I mean that water is like 54 degrees...COLD! I watched him for several minutes then lost him in the rocks. I am sure he found a place out of the water to soak up the radiant heat of the rocks. I guess that shows they adapt to their surroundings.

Wow, I would not have expected that either... reptiles don't generally like cold water..
