Thats so weird. I dont recall any tractor ive been on, and ive operated alot over the past 40 years, not having power down loader.
It had power down, but just not quite enough uuumph to lift the front tires.

The photos I've just looked at show hydraulic cylinders with hoses connected to both ends of the loader arm cylinders.

Is yours that way? Or could someone have put single action cylinders on it, with only one hose?

Bruce
Mine has connectors both ends, they appear to be stock. I posted an update

I looked at 3 TC30's today a 2004, 2005 and a 2008 all with loaders and none of them has downward force. One of the gentlemen that buys and sells said some do some don't. Some only have single action cylinders.

I was thinking that you were talking about a defect, not being made as a gravity down only FEL. I can't believe such a thing would be made in modern days. Why? I sure would like pictures of such a thing.

I had a Mitsubishi I think it was a 2350D the FEL was gravity down only.
It had one hyd line going to each cylinder.

I had a Mitsubishi 2801FD it would lift the tractor off the ground without bucket curl. Set it on a brush pile and it would lift the tractor way off the ground. Best tractor I ever owned, should have kept it but major parts were hard to find if ever needed.

New seals recent, checked cylinder pressure, everything is good, but no downward force.

Sure, but just like it can't lift 3000 pounds, maybe it can't lift itself.

Maybe it has a weak pump. Internal leaks. Valve issue.

Have you put a pressure gauge on the system and check what pressure does it put out when you try to lift the tractor with just the lift cylinder down pressure?

You've heard from a couple of NH owners of similar sized machines. All of ours do not have downforce, aside from bucket curl.

That doesn't make sense if it really is a gravity down system.
I don't know what kind of system it is, but the boom has no downward force.

I know, and I thank you and the NH owners. I also looked at 3 other NH tractors and they were the same as yours, mine and the other NH owners on here.
