The fishing right now they say is very good - not for me. I get cold just looking at them standing in the water. We still get some thermal springs not far up stream which helps keep the ice flow down.
Need some pictures of you removing snow with your front coming in.

At 10:00 pm we currently have 12 degrees with 21MPH wind gusting to 30. I have to be at work at 8:00 tomorrow morning, so I'll be getting up at 6:00 to eat and plow the drive. Probably too dark for pictures. However, here's what it looks like out my back door right now. That drift to the right is about 2.5 feet tall.

It was a bone chilling 58 today in LA this morning. We may not see anything higher than 72... We had slight rain yesterday.. Nearly gridlocked the city...

I have a friend in Buffalo, saw a picture of his house. I once lived in West Yellowstone and it looked the same...

Got up at 6:00 am. The drift had grown to 32 inches deep. But that is the only drift in the yard, except around the cars. The average depth of the drive was probably around 8-9 inches of fine, heavy granules. I attempted to take a video while I plowed, bundled up in layers of clothes, in the dark, while driving one handed.... (turning myself in to the safety police later this afternoon). When I get a chance, I'll upload it.

Did I see correctly -- that you're pushing 10" of wet, heavy snow with just turf tires and no chains? If so, that IS impressive...

I have a set of each, and if the ground is frozen or your on pavement, the turf tires provide better traction. Just more rubber in contact with the ground. The only time I found the lug tires to have a little advantage, was in the mud. I have the set of lugs on wheels and hardly ever use them.

That wind is a killer. The one good thing with where I live is that there is normally no wind or very little.
West Yellowstone, Montana normally has 8 to 10 feet of snow. They tunnel into the front door but the spring met is no fun.
Good luck David, heard you may be in for additional dump by weekend.

David,
Great shots - plowing center of drive with straight on blade. Did you end up angeling to widen drive?
The girls will have fun with that pile.
